This event has been running since 1976 and incorporates both tar and off-road sections. It is described as a challenging run as it includes a number of hills such as the 6km climb up to World’s View. But it’s also incredibly scenic and the view from the top is worth all that hard work.
A mixture of tarred roads and off-road dirt tracks through a plantation, with lots of challenging hills. This is a challenging but scenic run. The race is all about a long and brutal six kilometre climb to World’s View. From there, mercifully, the following two kilometres are fairly flat. A final steep downhill charge leads you to the finish.
Unique Fact: The event has been running since 1976, and the off-road sections appeal to lots of runners. Lucky draw prizes include household appliances and cash prizes.
