2017 SAFIRE BERG 100

General Description:

The Berg 100 takes place between two iconic villages - Nottingham Road and Himeville. What makes this race unique to any other in SA is that due to the nature of the route we are able to change directions every year, allowing the rider a completely "new" ride every year! This year the race will start in Himeville and end in Notties.

A great race in it's own right, the Safire Berg 100 is also the perfect preparation ride for Sani & JoBerg2C - to make sure the training is paying off and to spot any chinks in the armour, 7 weeks prior to the event.

The climbs are long, but so are the descents, and the riding is designed to make the route fast, not technically difficult.
